These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and budgetpal ("we", "us", or "our"), the legal business entity providing the budgetpal mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

BudgetPal is a personal budgeting and financial management application that allows users to:

• Track expenses and income
• Create and manage budgets
• Set financial goals
• Scan and categorize receipts
• Generate financial reports and analytics
• Sync data across devices

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

• You must create an account to use certain features of the App.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

3.2 Account Security

• You are solely responsible for all activities under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for security reasons.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Plan Types

• Free Plan: Limited features as described in the App.
• Basic Plan: $0.99/month with enhanced features.
• Pro Plan: $2.00/month with unlimited features.

4.2 Billing Terms

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
• Payment is charged to your chosen payment method.
• Free trials are available for paid plans (30 days).
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, all purchases are final and non-refundable. See our Refund Policy.

4.3 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
• Price changes will not affect existing subscribers during their current billing cycle.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You agree to:

• Use the App for personal, non-commercial financial management.
• Provide accurate financial information.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

5.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the App for illegal activities or money laundering.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Use automated tools to access the App.
• Upload malicious code or viruses.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

6. Financial Data and Privacy

6.1 Data Accuracy

• You are responsible for the accuracy of financial data you input.
• BudgetPal does not verify the accuracy of user-provided financial information.
• We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on App data.

6.2 Data Security

• Your financial data is encrypted and stored securely.
• We do not sell your personal financial information to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 App Ownership

• BudgetPal and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by BudgetPal.
• You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App.

• You grant us a limited license to process your data to provide services.
• You may export your data at any time.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

• The App may experience downtime for maintenance or technical issues.
• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We are not liable for losses due to service interruptions.

• BudgetPal provides budgeting tools, not financial advice.
• We are not licensed financial advisors.
• Consult qualified professionals for financial planning decisions.
• We are not responsible for financial losses or decisions.

8.3 Data Accuracy

• Financial calculations are based on user-provided data.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations or reports.
• Users should verify all financial information independently.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the last 12 months.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• We are not liable for data loss, financial losses, or business interruption.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability.

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

• You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings.
• Cancellation of subscriptions takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.
• You may export your data before termination.

10.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account if you:
